Before stepping into the installation, it is impossible not to tell the story of the world that inspired it. For years, Mastro Raphael has been a point of reference in the world of high-end furnishing textiles, a brand that has successfully combined artisanal tradition with contemporary research. Its collections are born from a careful selection of precious materials and a deep culture of textiles, where every detail — from embroidery to finishes — expresses care, quality and timeless elegance. The brand stands out for its ability to transform textiles into a narrative element, capable of defining atmospheres and giving identity to spaces, while always maintaining a perfect balance between innovation and heritage.
A Dreamlike Window Display: Textile Magic Meets Imagination with Mastro Raphael
Some installations simply display products, while others tell a story. The new window display created in collaboration with Mastro Raphael undoubtedly belongs to the second category: a small enchanted world where fabrics, textures and details intertwine to bring to life an atmosphere suspended between reality and fantasy.
The idea behind the project was to create a fairytale setting, a place capable of capturing the eye and transporting the viewer into a visual story made of softness, reflections and tactile impressions.
Framing this scene is the CYRUS VELLUTO COL. M5 fabric, chosen as a backdrop for its depth and its ability to envelop the entire space in a warm and sophisticated dimension. With its play of light and shadow, the velvet becomes the sky of this contemporary fairytale.
At the center of the scene stands an armchair, the true protagonist of the installation. Its upholstery creates a harmonious dialogue between materials: the front, in DORIA COL. 6 velvet, welcomes the eye with elegance, while the sides, made in CONADE COL. 5 velvet, add movement and depth, creating a refined tonal contrast.
Behind the armchair, another narrative layer unfolds: a curtain in linen fabric with API embroidery and metallic threads COL. M2. Here, the lightness of linen meets the preciousness of metallic details, evoking a delicate play of light that recalls nature and craftsmanship, almost as if tiny glimmers were passing through the scene.
Yet it is the most poetic element that makes this window display truly unique: an imaginary tree growing within the exhibition space. Its “fruits” are not leaves or flowers, but cushions from the Animali Fantastici and Estensi collections. Hanging like precious decorative elements, these cushions transform the tree into a symbol of creativity and wonder, giving concrete form to the idea of a textile dream.
The result is a perfect balance between design and storytelling: a window display that does not simply show, but invites us to imagine, to be inspired, and to enter — even if only with our eyes — a world where fabric becomes a story.
